Ushuaia, famous as the southernmost city in the world, is at the same time the only Argentine town on the west side of the Andes mountain range. This mountains give the city a peculiar charm. On clear days, you have a fantastic view to the snowy mountains and the glaciers. First, you will cross the industrial area of Ushuaia, then the excursion leads through the valleys Carbajal, de los Huskies, Tierra Mayor, and Las Cotorras up to its highest point, the Garibaldi Passage (450m). Here you will enjoy the marvellous panoramic view over the lakes Escondido and Fagnano. The tour continues along the lake Escondido, crosses enchanting woodlands to the lake Fagnago. This narrow lake is 100km long and only 10km wide. We stop over at the shore of the lake. You will have time to enjoy this marvellous landscape and to take pictures.
