La Ernestina
This ranch is located in one of the best animal observation points in the area. Mr. Santiago Copello bought the estancia in 1907 and it took the name after his wife. From the beginning, the principal activity was the raising of merino sheep and after 4 generations, the family decided to share their natural fortune: orcas, penguins, sea elephants and sea lions with guests. The rooms, the dining-room and the library with a fireplace face the sea which is only 200m away from the house. The homemade food such as lamb stew with roasted potatoes, pasta and sea food paella are enjoyed with delicious desserts and Patagonian wines. The lighthouse built in 1925 and from where most of the activities begin, is only 3km away from the ranch.
