This short trip in an open truck and a dinghy (zodiac) brings you where you never imagined you would once be… a few metres in front of the bottom of the falls!
Parting in a truck, you cross nearly impassable nature paths through the dense wood. The guide offers you a valuable description of the local fauna and flora. From the open truck you will enjoy the beauty of this national park and will learn a lot about the history of the parks and the environmental issues.
Arriving at the lower trail down on the shore of the Iguazú river you will board a dinghy with powerful motors. All along the river, you reach the bottom of the falls, where the water crashes with full speed into the lower river.
Some people go with bathing suits, others try to protect themselves from the water with plastic tippets. In vain because nobody will keep dry, as the "pulverised" warm water will find its way through your clothes. Have fun and bring along a plastic bag for your camera and you will never forget this short but incredible adventure and the droning noise of this giant water curtain.
The truck will bring you back to the visitor's centre. |
