This most well-known hotel enjoys a great popularity due to its colonial architecture, its beautiful garden and the perfect location in the heart of the Brazilian National Park. The hotel is fully booked nearly every day due to its enormous popularity with tour groups. There is always a busy atmosphere at the relatively small reception and at the breakfast room. The hotel has a charming colonial styled bar and two restaurants, one in the garden and another one next to the swimming-pool. There are different room categories: the standard rooms are quite small and rather dark. The superior rooms are more modern and larger in size and some of the deluxe rooms have partial view of the waterfalls.
