Marriott Plaza
One of the most traditional hotels in Buenos Aires. The perfect location in front of San Martin Square (Plaza San Martín) and next to the pedestrian street Florida makes it one of the most popular hotels among executives as well as tourists. The hotel was inaugurated in 1912 and completely refurbished when Marriott took over in 1995. It has a very classical style. There is an elegant reception with lounge area. There are two restaurants, a traditional English bar, a fitness centre including a small outdoor swimming-pool and a snack restaurant, a business centre and a shopping gallery. The rooms are nicely decorated but different in size and offer a good 5-star standard.
