Castelar
This huge and traditional hotel lies on the famous May Avenue (Avenida de Mayo) between the Congress building and the Government House (Casa Rosada). It is one of the very traditional hotels in Buenos Aires and the entrance hall is still in the glamorous style of the 20th century. The restaurant with the bar is next to the reception. The rooms are distributed in different wings and of unequal size. They have all been slightly renovated at the end of the 90’s. Some of the rooms are internal and without view. The decoration is traditional. The hotel has a unique old spa with sauna and Turkish bath on its basement. There is no entrance fee for hotel guests.
