You will be picked up at the hotel and a transfer will bring you to Puerto Pañuelo, located on the peninsula of Llao-Llao, on the shore of Nahuel Huapi lake.
From Puerto Pañuelo you sail on a catamaran on the Nahuel Huapi lake and after approximately one hour you reach the Quetrihue peninsula, which is part of Los Arrayanes National Park. Here you can walk through a wooden pathway and admire the magnificence of the unique Arrayanes forest in the world. The wooden pathway ends in the so-called Walt Disney cottage - it is said that this forest was the inspiring muse of the famous Walt Disney for his film "Bambi". From a botanical point of view, the arrayan is a plant classified as a bush which only grows as a tree in this area. It has a cinnamon colour with a thin bark which upon coming off, leaves white spots giving this tree its unique look.
After this visit, we continue sailing to Victoria Island on a 40min. voyage arriving at Puerto Anchorena. There, you will be able to visit a coniferous nursery, walking through paths and natural viewpoints where you will be able to admire the magnificent beauty of the place. One of the paths leads us to Playa del Toro, where cave paintings can be seen as well as to a volcanic sand beach. During this walk, our National Park guides will show you and inform you every detail related to this excursion. |
