Day 01 |
Transfer from the airport to the hotel. Overnight at Mendoza. |
Day 02 |
Morning city tour through this provincial capital. Mendoza is a pleasant town with many little squares. Walk around the centre, visit the huge San Martin Park and go for a great view to the Hill of Glory. Of course a visit to the wine museum can not be missed. Mendoza has the perfect climate and it is the leading vine growing area in Argentina. Afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Mendoza. |
Day 03 |
Drive south along the Wine Road to the suburbs of Mendoza. Visit some of the finest wineries and learn about how man has turned a desert into an oasis by means of canals and irrigations ditches. Then continue to the Uco Valley. Superb views of the Andes can be enjoyed along its way. Visit to another bodega so as to degust local wine during a delicious gourmet lunch. In the afternoon, return to Mendoza. Overnight at Mendoza. |
Day 04 |
The excursion goes to the border with Chile. Ride up to Uspallata, a wide valley with great views to the Andes. The tour continues via Los Penitentes to Puente del Inca, a natural bridge over the river at 2,720 metres over sea level. A short walk leads to the Aconcagua Provincial Park from where the top of Mount Aconcagua can be seen. In the afternoon, ride back to Mendoza. Overnight at Mendoza. |

Transfer to the airport to continue with your individual programme. |
