Day 01 |
Transfer from Ezeiza International Airport to the city centre. Introduction of the city in a pleasant city walk, passing by the Obelisk, pedestrian zones and visiting the famous Teatro Colon. The government house will be seen at the historical centre at Plaza de Mayo. Walk back through the wide May Avenue (Avenida de Mayo) to your hotel. Check-in and the rest of the afternoon is at leisure. Overnight at Buenos Aires. |
Day 02 |
Morning city tour visiting San Temlo suburb with its famous antique stores and colonial buildings, then the old harbour at La Boca with its colorful houses and Caminito Street. Proceeding via Puerto Madero to the northern part of the town, where wide avenues, lush green parks and artificial lakes of Palermo can be found. The tour ends with the visit of the famous monumental cemetery of La Recoleta. Overnight at Buenos Aires. |
Day 03 |
Introduction to the world of tango, the most famous dance in Buenos Aires. Transfer to a tango school and lesson with a bilingual teacher. Then drive to Palermo Viejo district, one of the most popular suburbs of town with many art galleries, boutiques and restaurants. Time at leisure and late afternoon transfer back to the hotel. In the evening tango show at one of the famous tango bars. Overnight at Buenos Aires. |
Day 04 |
Excursion to the Pampa. Argentina is a country of big cattle farms. The tour leads you to one of these beautiful estancias. Enjoy a day at the countryside and meet the gauchos. At lunchtime a delicious beef BBQ will be served followed by a folkloric show and horseback riding demonstration. In the afternoon, transfer back to Buenos Aires. Evening at leisure. Overnight at Buenos Aires. |
Day 05 |
In the morning, ride through the northern suburbs. Some of the finest residential areas of Great Buenos Aires will be seen. Arrival at the River Terminal Tigre and boarding one of the riverboats. The navigation goes through the Paraná River Delta with wonderful vegetation and pretty weekend houses. Lunch at a typical Delta-Restaurant and time to relax in its beautiful park. Then boat transfer back to Tigre and train ride back to Buenos Aires. Overnight at Buenos Aires. |
