Buenos Aires

Ushuaia

(4 days / 3 nights) A mystic place at the most southern end of the world. The province capital of Tierra del Fuego lies beautifully on the Beagle Channel. It is the only city in Argentina on the western slope of the Andes and enjoys a great popularity among foreign tourists. In summer time it is the gateway to the Antarctic and the city centre has an unexpected busy atmosphere. Ushuaia is hub for the natural attractions of the province. Within easy reach there are a variety of traditional excursions, but explorers will also be able to find remote areas far away from it.

El Calafate & El Chaltén

(6 days / 5 nights) El Calafate is a little city and the gateway to explore the enormous natural richness of the south. Located in the dry Patagonian steppe and on the shore of the turquoise Lake Argentino, it is the ideal place for unbelievable excursions. World famous Perito Moreno and Upsala glaciers are within easy reach. The ice is deep blue and large pieces fall into the lake with a loud noise - an unforgettable spectacle. But not only some of the most important glaciers can be found in the area. At El Chaltén, one finds a hikers' paradise with unexpected dimensions.

Bariloche

(4 days / 3 nights) This important resort in the Andes is widely known throughout the continent. At winter it is a leading ski station and in summer it becomes a popular holiday spot for the Argentineans. Bariloche has breathtaking mountain scenery. It is considered the Switzerland of South America. The location at the edge of the Patagonian steppe and at the foot of high altitude mountains opens a wide variety of excursions and outdoor activities. It is also a gateway to neighbouring Chile.

Mendoza

(5 days / 4 nights) This popular province capital is becoming a leading destination for gourmet and wine holidays in Argentina. But is has much more to offer. Located at the Andes foothills, it offers some of the most beautiful landscapes with high mountain peaks. Day trips to different parts of the pre-cordillera can be easily organized. It is also a gateway to Chile with a pleasant ride over the Andes and passing by the highest peak in America. But still, the most important reason to visit Mendoza is its wine. Visiting a bodega and tasting the local Malbec wine, is a must.

Iguazú

(3 days / 2 nights) It is certainly one of the most outstanding attractions of Argentina. Iguazú means “big water” in Guarani language, and this is very true. It lies in the North of the country and on the border with Brazil. The whole falls stretch over 2,700 metres and it reach over 80 metres at the highest point. Small footpaths lead through the unspoiled subtropical forest and great photo shots can be taken from different angled viewpoints. But the national park protects also the local fauna with many kinds of colorful butterflies and birds. It is an unbelievable natural experience.
